Standards and Accreditation by the European Organization Education Accreditation
(EOEA)

EOEA employs standards that fully take into account and adhere to the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.

Due to the differences between universities and other types of higher education institutions, EOEA uses slightly modified sets of standards for these two types of institutions. Similarly, EOEA also uses two sets of standards for program accreditation, depending on the type of institution offering the degree.

In order to adequately assess Joint Degree programs, specific standards for Joint Degrees are used by EOEA.

Institutional Accreditation

  • Standards for universities
  • Standards for other higher education institutions

Programme Accreditation
